NCR Economy & Currency

Post by Lone Wolf on Fri Jul 14, 2017 3:50 am

¢1, ¢5, ¢10, ¢25, ¢50, and $1 coins are minted in copper, silver and gold and are issued & minted by the Republic Reserve in the Angel's Boneyard.

$5 bills are printed in the New California Republic. This bill features a picture of Aradesh on the face of the bill and a landscape image of the Shady Sands on the back.

$20 bills are also printed in the Republic. This bill features a picture of First Ranger Seth on the face of the bill and two pieces of New California Ranger insignias on the back.

$100 bills are also printed in the Republic. This bill features a picture of President Tandi on the face of the bill and an image of Tandi addressing a crowd on the back.

The NCR economy is currently on a massive boom as per expansions into the Mojave and the backing of the NCR currency means that most Westerners will trade and buy in NCR bills or coins. These bills & coins are accepted as legal tender in NCR territories, though it is often used for trade outside of the NCR. The current conversion rate is around four bottle caps being equivalent to a single one dollar coin.
